I'm headed for Abkhazia
Sukhumi, on the eastern shores of the Black Sea is my final destination -
but you are saying I still don't have a clue where this is...... it's in former Soviet Union territory, in the far southwestern corner of Russia. More later about the political and cultural interests.
Sukhumi is such a pretty word, but then, I'm not really sure how it's pronouned! Good for you for getting your blog going. I'm looking forward to hearing about your life in Abkhazia and wish you the best adventure possible.
ReplyDeleteThe adventure of a lifetime - at least to date. I am absolutely sure that the people you will serve will be grateful. But I doubt they will know how lucky they are to have you amongst them. Blessings on your journey, be safe, and return to us better for it. Love and honor. Ballard
ReplyDeleteThis map, with all of it's fantasy like names, surely is something you got right out of the Tolkien chronicles. I'm sure you will have lessons like no other. Gives me goosebumps, in a good way. Love ya loads, I'll be blogging!

Dear Genie, I am so glad you have reached your host country (although the time in Paris seemed delightful!). I look forward to reading of your adventures, people served and challenges faced. They are so lucky that you are there. I'm sure you will touch those who need you, in the ways that will help them heal --- both on the inside and the outside.
